Looking for someone to assist me 2 days/week. Position is available from March to June. Must be 18 and over. I will be conducting interviews later on this week into next week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• administrative stuff
• organizing the studio
• running LOTS of errands, including anything from sourcing/buying fabric to running to the post office (my fav place) 
• assisting with events + photo shoots
• assisting with cutting and some light sewing

REQUIREMENTS:

• outgoing/strong professional people skills
• a self-starter/someone who can take the initiative to start projects
• be able to multitask
• prior experience a plus; really looking for people who are open to learning new things
• flexible schedule which includes mainly weekdays bet 11am-5pm but maybe evenings and/wkends (usually for events)
• basic sewing skills OR a willingness to learn a plus
• strong interest/passion for fashion/individual style (or just a strong passion for helping me!!!)
• know how to use the subway extremely well—-we are located in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn and most errands must be run via the subway
• knowledge of current trends (but not slaves to them, of course!)
