So happy this posted during Fashion Week. Back in October 2011, we shot this photo shoot naming me as one of Time Out NY’s Most Stylish New Yorkers. I always wanted to be named and when I got the email from them, I was shocked. A dream come true!

Apparently the L train is not running this weekend. :(

There is a shuttle bus but I hate the shuttle bus! There are other ways to get there; you can take the M/J train. I think you can take the M train to Central Ave and walk. I will be taking the J train to Flushing Ave and walking about 10-15 mins to The Loom. Way easier for me. May be easier for many of you than to take the L shuttle bus, which can be a nightmare. 

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I have a couple of people meeting me at my studio at 5pm and we will go together. If you would like to meet up with us, feel free to email/call me.

this week has been amazing! from connecting with great people, getting a great response from the new leggings, to finding out that i will be an honoree at a fashion event in bk, i am just happy and thankful for all that i have been blessed with. but i will be ending this wonderful week on a high note by doing a fashion show at HARVARD UNIVERSITY. yes, harvard. i am sooo excited that I was asked to show. and when harvard asks you to come, you can’t say no!

my friend damion invited me to the cfda nomination/honoree ceremony last wednesday at diane von furstenburg’s store. it was amazing to be in the room with diane von furstenburg, the olsen twins, alexander wang, jason wu, vera wang, among others. so glad that i went…but it was not the type of place where you could snap pics of people…heck, i got to speak to diane for about 5 seconds, literally. still, very inspiring.
