in june, my boy david came to brooklyn (via los angeles) and wanted to use some of my clothing for a photo shoot. dave is a talented director who is trying his hands at photography. below are pics of his effort with paola, who is an amazing singer.

and they used one of the pics as the cover for new paola’s single called “spinning around”. take a listen:

just wanna give u a little “crack” this morning. will post more pics from yesterday’s fashion show in a bit. it was such a great success for us at naKIMuli. and so many of my tumblr followers came through. thank u guys for that! u guys are so lovely.
side note: the photographer above, hannan saleh, was the same photographer who just shot the editorial we did for bhf magazine. (what are the odds?) she said she loves my work and that the pics came out wonderful. can’t wait to see them!
we decided at the last minute to add these 2 bonus looks to the collection. me + kelly just went down the block from my house + shot these. kelly was nervous at first to be behind the camera but she did an awesome job! i actually luv these pics as much as the indoor “professional” ones.
